Happy Thursday everyone! Here is a simple, quick and healthy breakfast recipe for your plant-based diet.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup Old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 banana
- 1 cup organic frozen berries
- 1/2 tbs chia seeds
- Bring 1 cup water (or milk) to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in 1/2 cup oats and reduce heat to medium; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add your desired fruits on top and sprinkle with chia seeds.
Note: You can add chia seeds in your oats while boiling, if you want.
